The City of San Angelo has hired a new animal services manager. Amanda Weddle has been in the role. The hiring corresponds with the ending of the partnership between the city and PAWS, the organization that helps with adoptions. “Weddle brings more than 25 years of experience in animal care, including 16 years in animal services. Her previous roles include positions with the cities of College Station, Lewisville and most recently, Frisco, where she served for the past nine years. She holds both state and national certifications as an Animal Control Officer and cruelty investigator. In addition to her work in animal services, Weddle has an extensive background as a veterinary technician.”
