A two-vehicle crash on East 19th Street and Pecan Street sends one juvenile to the hospital after a driver fell asleep at the wheel on Monday, June 30, around 3 p.m. According to SAPD, a GMC Sierra was driving westbound on 19th st when the Chevy Blazer, driving east, fell asleep at the wheel, causing the vehicle to drive over the center line, causing a collision. Both drivers were issued citations. The Chevy driver for driving left of center, and the GMC driver for failing to have a driver’s license.
