Congressman Pfluger Issues Statement On Airstrike

Congressman August Pfluger issued a statement Saturday in response to President Donald Trump’s announcement that the U.S. successfully carried out an airstrike on three Iranian nuclear sites. Rep. Pfluger praised the operation, which was carried out by American airmen at the direction of President Trump. In his statement, Pfluger commended the president, the national security team, and the military personnel involved in the mission.
“Today, American airmen executed an operation at the direction of President Trump to eliminate Iranian nuclear facilities,” Pfluger said. “I commend President Trump, the national security team, and the men and women who executed these orders on this successful mission.”
