Could Daylight Saving Time Become Year-Round?

There’s always some controversy regarding changing the clocks twice a year. Lawmakers on Capitol Hill are now pushing to lock the clocks. Senator Ted Cruz led a bipartisan hearing this week, looking into the effects of time change.  The Texas Republican says it was meant to curb energy use, but studies show that’s not happening. A bill, dubbed the Sunshine Protection Act, would make daylight saving time the year-round standard.
