Big Bucks Being Spent In Texas For Senate Race

National Democrats are spending big bucks in Texas to help Colin Allred unseat Senator Ted Cruz.  Experts say they likely see the race as chance to pull a November surprise and pick up a seat. Political Scientists say Democrats often come to Texas to raise funds.  But it’s rare that they spend that cash here.  In a statement, the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee says they are “going on offense” in Texas.  This Senate race will likely end up being one of the most expensive in state history.  All the polls show Senator Cruz with a lead.
