The San Angelo Independent School District held its annual San Angelo READS! back-to-school event at the Foster Communications Coliseum on August 2. This community literacy initiative, aimed at fostering a love for reading and preparing students for school, featured support from United Way and 60 local partners.
The event provided students and families with school supplies and other essentials, while SAISD staff assisted with school registrations. Local businesses participated to make back-to-school preparations enjoyable and efficient. SAISD is looking forward to serving San Angelo students in the new school year.
