Food Inflation Is Up For Fourth Of July

Families will have to dig deeper into their wallets to enjoy an Independence Day bar-b-q.  Food inflation is running at just about four-percent annually. David Holt with the Texas-based Consumer Energy Alliance says the price of gas is one of the primary drivers of inflation.  Farmers need fuel for tractors and truckers need diesel to get the food to the grocery. He slammed the Biden Administration for energy policies that he says have caused prices to steadily increase over the past almost four years.
