San Angelo City Council Approves $249,851 For Lake Nasworthy Boat Ramps

The San Angelo City Council approved the design of two boat ramps and three kayak launch areas at Lake Nasworthy, totaling $249,851. The approval follows the city’s successful application for a grant through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Boating Access Grant Program on April 4, 2023. The grant, awarded for design services under the Boat Ramps Phase II project, will fund the design of full boat ramps at Fisherman’s Road and Red Bluff Circle, and non-motorized launches at two areas in Pecan Creek and Rock Slough Park.
