Eight dogs are left in second part of 40-dog euthanasia list released by the City of San Angelo on May 28 due to overcrowding in the San Angelo Animal Shelter. The list was divided into two parts, with the first 21 dogs scheduled to be euthanized on June 1. Though all of the dogs in the first portion of the list were rehomed before the deadline, the second section still remains at risk. To help prospective pet owners, CVPAWS has waived all adoption fees for at-risk dogs, including costs incurred by vaccinations, microchips and spays or neuters.
