A San Angelo woman wanted by the San Angelo Police Department for property theft has been arrested after weeks of searching, according to the inmate roster for the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office.
41-year-old Candice Campbell was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Center at 6:52 a.m. on Monday, June 3. She is charged with theft of property valued between $2,500 and $30,000, and she has a bond set at $25,000.
Jail records filed in Tom Green County state that Campbell was charged with the offense on December 21, 2023. This puts 165 days between the day she was charged and the day she was arrested.
Records also indicate that Campbell has been arrested on charges of property theft multiple times throughout the years, with her earliest documented arrest for the offense happening in August 2004.
