At their regular meeting, San Angelo City Council members voted
to support a resolution for a proposed 44-unit affordable rental housing
project for seniors. The plan is for apartments on two tracts of
land at Petro Drive and Ben Ficklin Road. The project will be
part of the low-income housing tax credit affordable housing
program. The project, called Bergman Heights will offer residents
free wifi, a fitness center, and more amenities. The project could be
complete by late next year.
