The 17th Training Wing at Goodfellow Air Force Base will host a
Training Group immersion event for Base’s Honorary
Commanders on Friday. Honorary Commanders are members of
the local community selected through an annual application process.
The program enables members of the community to understand the
importance of the 17th Training Wing, the US Air Force, the Department
of Defense, and its military mission. The upcoming event is part of a
12-month program focused on fostering and developing further
relationships with community leaders.
