Several hundred Goodfellow Air Force Base service personnel were
treated to a homestyle Christmas Dinner and gifts yesterday as the
San Angelo Elks once again hosted their Home Away from Home event.
The nearly 10-year tradition treats the many service members who
couldn’t be at home with their families at Christmas. To make the event
all the more special, many donated gifts and gift cards were donated to the
service members attending the event.
