After the announcement earlier this month about 25 city animal
shelter dogs in danger of euthanasia by the 21st, the Animal shelter
says that all the dogs have been adopted and saved. Officials first said
the dogs were at risk on December 18th, as the shelter had 199 dogs,
higher than the 180 maximum legally held at the shelter. In order to save
as many as they could, city officials announced on social media about their
effort to have them adopted, fostered or transferred. They were all saved by
the end of the day on the 21st.
