Several San Angelo needy children went shopping for Christmas gifts
Saturday morning, thanks to the San Angelo Police Officers
Coalition. It was their annual “Operation Blue Santa,” in which each
child was able to pick out gifts for themselves or family members. Also
helping the kids were members of the Texas DPS, Tom Green County
Sheriffs Deputies and from Goodfellow. Private donations paid for the
cost of the gifts. SAISD counselors chose the nearly 40 children for
financial need.
