A 31-year-old San Angelo man was arrested outside the Tom
Green County Sheriff’s Office Friday for Possession of a
Prohibited Weapon. Jeremy Jay Daniels was carrying a working
homemade 12 gauge zip gun made from a pipe. He was discovered
by deputies stalking officers in the parking lot area of the Sheriff’s
office. When questioned, he said he was intending to use the gun for
revenge against deputies. He was arrested, and at last report he was
in the Tom Green County Detention Center with a 15 thousand dollar
bond.
