Members of the San Angelo city council unanimously approved
a meet-and-confer agreement with the San Angelo Police Officers
Coalition today, setting terms and conditions of employment for officers.
The agreement is bringing needed pay raises for officers to boost their
salaries more inline with competing departments. The department will
better its chances of hiring additional needed officers with the new
agreement, which is taking effect January 1st. The agreement will be in
effect for one year.
