Voting is underway this week over San Angelo Police
officer’s next step in pay raises after months of discussion and
negotiating between members of the San Angelo Police Officers
Coalition and City of San Angelo leaders. A final meet and Confer
negotiation meeting was held yesterday, where three pay raises
and benefit details were discussed, and details of the options were
finalized. The local officer association received assistance during the
meeting from Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas field
directors. The results of the officers’ voting will reportedly be discussed
during next week’s City Council meeting.
