Angelo State University’s Department of Visual and Performing
Arts and Friends of Art and Music Education will host an ASU
After Hours event featuring free food and operatic performances
on Friday (Nov.3), at the Cactus Hotel downtown. Titled “Spaghetti
and Opera,” the event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and is free and open
to the public. It will feature ASU music/voice students performing
excerpts from some of the most popular and well-known operas.
The singers will be accompanied on piano by Hunter Mabery, ASU
staff accompanist.
