The Alzheimer’s Association West Texas Chapter says they will
have an education conference next week at the Stephens Central
Library. The event, called “A L Z and Me” is free and open to the
public. It will run from 9 am to 2 pm Wednesday, October 25th at
the Library. They will discuss the Basics of Alzheimer’s and Dementia,
Legal matters, Ethical Dilemmas in Caregiving, and Resources available
within the Community. The conference will showcase support services
available within the Concho Valley and help individuals to plan their
next steps when facing Alzheimer’s disease.
