Angelo State University is presenting a new exhibit of historical
papers and correspondence from the ASU West Texas Collection
that is now open in the ASU Mayer Museum,on West Ave. N.
Titled “Don’t Forget to Write: Messages from the Archive,” the
exhibit will be open for free public viewing from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.,
Tuesday through Saturday, through March 8th. The exhibit invites
patrons to travel to the past through the words of those who lived
it. Featuring letters written by and to West Texans, the exhibit explores
a wide variety of topics, including the frontier experience, wartime
correspondence, business and politics.
