The San Angelo Hispanic Heritage Museum has celebrated the
contributions of individuals who have significantly enriched the
fabric of San Angelo. The museum announced the recipients of
three prestigious awards for the first time, at this year’s Hispanic
Heritage Month Banquet. Dorothy Borden Received the Eva
Camunez Tucker Service Award. Gustavo Manuel Campos was
Honored with the Captain Albert Tijerina Junior Trailblazer
Award. Elma Jacques, Ernest Perez, and Tony Villarreal were
presented with the Carolina Angela de la Garza Dewitt Legend
Award.
