West Texas Counseling & Guidance presents the 8th Annual Principal LED
Shine a Light event for Suicide Prevention & Awareness month. This year’s
Shine a Light event will take place on Saturday at 7:30 PM at the San Angelo
Visitor’s Center. Shine a Light is an annual event held for families and friends who
have lost a loved one to suicide, as well as an opportunity to raise awareness and
education for suicide prevention within the community. Shine a Light includes a
special presentation and message of hope, live music, memory wall art installation
and Memorial night walk along a lighted pathway of dedicated luminaries in honor of
loved ones lost to suicide.
This year WTCG will also host the first ever Shine a Light Silent Auction virtual event
throughout this month. This auction includes items, experiences, and support-specific
opportunities to provide hope and healing within our communities. To register or
