City officials say there’s currently fiber-optic work being done
throughout the community in which the City of San Angelo is
not involved. Fiber-optic technology provides new options for
internet service. There are three companies actively installing fiber
in San Angelo. Their crew hours of operation: 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday
through Saturday. Residents may see multiple color lines containing
fiber-optic cable laid in their neighborhoods and in front of their properties
during installation. The City is not conducting the work and cannot provide
information related to the work or damage resulting from the work.
The companies currently working in the city are Vexus Fiber, Conterra
Networks, and Frontier Communications.
