The San Angelo Cultural Council presents A Night at the Speakeasy on
Thursday, July 13th, at the Historic Cactus Hotel. Attendees will step back
to 1929 in an actual Speakeasy of the time. Period dress is encouraged. A
six-piece jazz band featuring Jim Bode and John Irish will perform. Local
actors will give a history of the speakeasy in San Angelo. Tickets are available
at sanangeloarts.com or at the door for $50 with an open bar and snacks.
Student tickets are $20 but must be purchased at the SACAC office or at
