San Angelo’s Baptist Retirement Community is now accepting
donated holiday gifts for the senior adults residing at the
faith-based, nonprofit senior living community. Items will be
distributed to residents in independent living and health care,
assisted living, memory care, and nursing the week of Christmas.
Their wish list includes toiletries, throw blankets, calendars, socks,
individually wrapped snacks, adult arts and crafts, large print
crossword puzzles and word search puzzles, adult coloring books,
blank greeting cards, reusable water bottles, hats, gloves,
ballpoint pens, small writing tablets, and manicure sets. Organizers
prefer the gifts not to be wrapped, so it’s easy to identify which
resident would enjoy it most. Donated items can be dropped off
Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. until December
16th. The Baptist Retirement Community is located at 902 N. Main
Street. For more information, call Michelle Villarreal at 325-486-2131.
