A rezoning proposal from Single-family homes to duplex zoning
concerns some Bentwood area residents. San Angelo city council
members will talk about the rezoning during their meeting Tuesday
morning. Their agenda calls for the first reading and public hearing
of an ordinance to rezone the property from the Single-Family Residential
zoning district to the Two-Family Residential zoning district
at 2153 Valleyview Drive. The proposal was denied during a recent
Planning Commission meeting. The Council’s Consent Agenda
has a resolution supporting the planning and construction of
the future Interstate Highway 27 in Texas. The meeting is set for 8:30 am
at the McNease Convention Center.
