Many San Angelo residents got a little relief from the heat as they
were given free box fans. The Salvation Army gave out 45 fans yesterday
that were donated by Westlake Ace Hardware. As the hot temperatures
continued, the Salvation Army passed out the fans for anyone lined up at
their location downtown yesterday. All the fans were given out in about an
hour on a first come first serve basis.
