A short police chase after a traffic stop late Tuesday morning
resulted in the arrest of one man after 2 others fled the vehicle and one
was not apprehended. Officers found about 28 hundred dollars and
drugs, heroin, and Methamphetamine. One occupant, 32-year-old Ivan
Alvarado was charged with Possession of a Controlled substance and
his outstanding warrants. Police say there was no damage to city or
department property during the pursuit, and the ASU Police
were notified as the incident was near the school. Additional
charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.
