A Harris County man has been indicted on two capital murder charges in connection with the death of Justin James in San Angelo.
Court records say 39-year-old Drew Green is accused of fatally stabbing James while James was in bed.
One capital murder count alleges the killing happened while Green was committing or attempting to commit a kidnapping, while the other alleges it occurred during a burglary.
The indictment also lists previous convictions for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and drug possession.
Green’s case will now move forward in Tom Green County court. The charges remain allegations unless proven in court.
