San Angelo city officials are reminding residents of standard conservation measures due to the available water supply exceeding 24 months. From April 1 to October 31, outside watering is limited to twice every seven days, with a maximum of one inch per week, and is prohibited between noon and 6 p.m. Runoff of more than 150 feet and failing to fix leaks are also prohibited. Water conservation tips include checking for toilet and faucet leaks, using WaterSense labeled products, shortening showers, running full loads in washers and dishwashers, practicing xeriscaping, and using soaker hoses or drip irrigation systems. Report any watering violations online or by calling 325-657-4409.
