A joint narcotics investigation by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety culminated in a major drug bust on Thursday, June 13.
It all took place in the 3000 Blk of Old Post Road where authorities obtained large quantities of methamphetamine, suspected fentanyl pills, marijuana, firearms, an illegal firearm suppressor, and U.S. currency.
Arrested as a result of the raid was James Freeland, 38, who faces charges of manufacturing and delivering a controlled substance in the 200-400 gram range, with further charges pending laboratory results. He is being held with no bond.
