The City of San Angelo has issued a public statement regarding individuals posing as city employees after receiving multiple reports from residents asking if it is sending workers into citizens’ homes to test their water.
The statement emphasizes that city employees do not test water inside homes and are not allowed to enter private properties.
The City asks anyone who encounters someone impersonating a City employee to report the individual by calling the San Angelo Police Department’s non-emergency dispatch number at (325)-657-4323 or contacting the Water Customer Service at (325)-657-4315.
