A weekend full of Juneteenth celebrations will get under way in San Angelo beginning this Friday with music, games, food trucks, and more. That event takes place at the NAACP Buffalo Soldiers Memorial from 4 to 7pm.
Then on Saturday, celebrations continue with a Juneteenth parade beginning at 10am on 9th Street and MLK Drive.
A community gathering will follow the event at MLK Park with food vendors including a BBQ cook off, arts and crafts, and games and activities for all ages.
