Junior Anglers Break Records Over The Weekend

The San Angelo district of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department’s Inland Fisheries, reported three records over the weekend from junior anglers. The first was set at Lake Nasworthy on June 8 by Rhylan Butts with an 8.8 pound, 43.2 inch gar. Rhylan set another record the next day with a channel catfish weighing 9.9 pounds and measuring 27.75 inches long. Celeste Hernandez rounded out a record weekend at the South Concho River with a 3-pound, 20.25-inch channel catfish.
