Defending National Champs, ASU, Opens Season in Portales

Angelo State Rams baseball will open the 2024 season as the #1 ranked team in the nation in Division 2 after winning the 2023 national championship. The Rams will play a four-game series at Eastern New Mexico this weekend starting this afternoon. The Rams were 56-9 last season led by their pitching staff and the Rams bring back several key pitchers plus several starters including preseason All-Americans Tripp Clark, Jacob Guerrero and Austin Beck.
