In a show of community spirit, on Monday, the County Sheriff’s
Office was contacted by Home Depot after they received a call
from an elderly customer stating her heater was not working
and her skin was starting to hurt. Sheriff Deputies responded
to conduct a welfare check and met with the elderly woman.
Shortly after, Deputies coordinated with Home Depot management,
who donated space heaters and other supplies to the cause.
Deputies picked up the supplies and responded back to the
residence, where they installed the heaters and made minor
needed repairs to make sure the woman was safe and warm.
