The San Angelo School District said farewell to retiring SAISD
Superintendent Dr. Carl Dethloff last evening during a regular
meeting of the board. Dethloff is retiring at the end of the year.
This fall marked his 33rd year in Texas Public Schools and 9th
year as superintendent in San Angelo ISD. He has been in San
Angelo for 15 years. Also, during the meeting, the board heard
reports on various items, discussed the academic programs
at Central on Oakes, and heard about construction progress in the
district.
