United Way of the Concho Valley has announced a new partnership
between United We Read and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, which
will provide one age-appropriate, high-quality book every month to
children from birth to age five — for free. “The United We Read program
has become a pivotal part of United Way of the Concho Valley. The
initiative will be available in 14 counties of the Concho Valley. The
program will be a no cost to the families, and the goal is to have
children signed up at birth, ensuring by the age of five, they will have
a library of at least 60 books. Child sponsorships are available to
