Thousands of families were out yesterday evening for Live Music,
a synthetic skating rink, bounce houses, tree lighting, and more on
the grounds of Angelo State University. ASU rang in the Christmas
season in a grand festive style in front of the Mayer Museum. The free event
was open to anyone and included hot chocolate and cookies. The lighting of
ASU’s 26-foot-tall tree and live concert highlighted the event. Visitors were
invited to donate a can of soup to the ASU Ram Pantry.
