The San Angelo Business Plan Competition has concluded its
two-phase competition for 2023. This annual event
aims to foster entrepreneurship and support local businesses in
San Angelo. The competition provides a platform for entrepreneurs
to showcase their expansion plans and compete for cash grants
and in-kind prizes. 1st Place and Grant funds of $40,000 were
awarded to Ascend Contractor Solutions, owned by Heath &
Ashlee Miller. 2nd Place and funds of $20,000 were awarded
to Wilde Engineering and Surveying, owned by Erica & Blake
Wilde. 3rd Place and $10,000 were awarded to Bubba
D’s Barbecue, owned by Austen Dillard.
