Early this morning. before 6 the San Angelo Police Department
received a call from an individual who had just broken into the
Tom Green County Courthouse. Also, alarms inside the
courthouse were notifying local law enforcement agencies of
the break-in. Police and deputies responded to find 27 year old
Noe Blanco inside one of the courtrooms. Blanco was taken into
custody. Blanco said he had broken into the courthouse to seek
shelter and then called the police. Officers took Blanco
into custody for the offense of criminal mischief, criminal trespass,
and an outstanding parole violation warrant. Damage to the
courthouse was limited to one window. He was transported
to the Tom Green County Detention Center.
