Last evening, the San Angelo ISD Board of Trustees voted to hire
Dr. Christopher Moran, a 32-year veteran educator and Whitehouse
ISD’s superintendent, as the new Superintendent of Schools of San
Angelo ISD during the board meeting. Moran is replacing Dr. Carl
Dethloff, who is retiring at the end of December. Moran begins his
duties here in January. The board previously had announced their
but had to wait 21 days before officially hiring Moran.
