Reports say former San Angelo Police Chief Tim Vasquez

had his appeal denied this week regarding his federal conviction

for bribery and mail fraud. Vasquez is serving a 15 and half year

sentence for receipt of a bribe, and 3 counts of honest services mail

fraud. While serving as Chief of San Angelo Police.  He had filed a

theory of guilt appeal regarding his bribery conviction. The court found

no error in Vasquez’s conviction and denied his appeal.
