The San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts board of directors has named
assistant director/curator Laura Huckaby as its interim director.
She’s replacing Alex Freeman, who has been the SAMFA director since
last September and served as president/CEO, beginning in January.
The board will begin a professional search immediately for a replacement
for Freeman, who they said will lead the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts
into the future. The Museum is currently undergoing renovations.
